Manifesting the mystical musings of the Brothers Grimm is no mean feat. Photographer Kilian Schoenberger has managed it spectacularly. Few tales drip such gravitas as those inspired by the haunting woodlands of Central Europe, the area where Schoenberger was born.
Everyone has heard of them before…those who just up and quit their job to pursue their passion. In Joel Robison’s case, his passion landed him in the big leagues. One day he came across Flickr and was inspired by other people’s creative photographs and so he bought a used DSLR from Ebay and decided to pursue taking pictures purely as a hobby.
These photographs may not portray sugar and spice and everything nice, but Jason Lee does capture the real deal when it comes to raising kids and the crazy moments that sometimes happen between siblings.
“What if-if you bumped into yourself somewhere on the stairs, or what if you didn’t realize you just walked past yourself?” These are the words of Chino Otsuka as she explains the concept behind the series Imagine Finding Me. The visual artist has embraced time travel by using photography and video to place herself in well-appointed spots in earlier photos of herself.

What do you get when you mix exotic places, a gorgeous girlfriend, and an eye for drawing a crowd in? Murad Osmann, an executive producer at Moscow-based Hype Production, said it all started when his girlfriend was getting annoyed by him always taking too many pictures and finally took his hand and tried to pull him forward. This otherwise innocent gesture turned into a collection of shots that went viral.
