Trina Merry combines performance art and body paint in The Human Motorcycle Project for the Progressive International Motorbike Show. The San Francisco-based artist brings painted naked bodies of circus performers, yoga instructors, dancers & models interspersed together to create an amazing life-like version of 3 motorcycles – dirtbike, cruiser, and sports bike. The models were covered with natural, hypoallergenic bodypaint applied before the models took their positions and touched-up once they were in place. The whole process took 3 days and an arduous 13 to 18 hours with 5 to 6 minute intervals of posing.
