Skeletal Pop Culture Villains in Royal Clothing

Travis Durden‘s latest series gives us an unusual mashup involving pop culture villains, high nobility garb and with some osteology thrown in the mix. Let’s start with the fact that each nightmarish villain is dressed in royal clothing straight out of a Renaissance painting – quite a leap from what we’ve seen our favorite bad guys in, or not in, as in the case of Alien. The French artist has also stripped the flesh off of each unearthly villain’s terrifying mugs making them a little less scary but still incredibly spooky at the same time.
