As part of his Animal Chair Collection, artist Maximo Riera created the Hippopotamus Chair. The size of an actual hippopotamus, the chair measures 4.5 feet tall and nearly 10 feet wide. The artist even creased the leather so that it resembles real animal skin. One of only 20 edition pieces, the collection is “an homage to these animals and the whole animal kingdom which inhabits our planet,” said Riera.
