A Parade to Celebrate Design

Parades started out at the town level way back when but they’ve become ginormous and over-the-top overtime. So when Italian brand Seletti held a parade with big names like Disaronno, Gufram, and Pepsico, to celebrate design week, we were delighted to see a more humble and fun alternative. Almost 3.000 revelers took part in the ‘design pride’ parade held in the city of Milan complete with floats, music, dancing and a party at the end of the route in Piazza Affari. We absolutely love the home-grown feel of this parade and how the celebration genuinely looks like it’s about the people rather than the biggest and fanciest float.
