Favorite Childhood Characters as the Underclass

Benjamin Béchet reimagines our favorite childhood characters down on their luck with his latest series ‘I am Winnie the Pooh.’ Taken from their glorious imaginary worlds, each lovable personality are seen as having to fend for themselves in today’s dog eat dog world. The French photographer’s take on placing invincible superheros and putting them in real world situations is humorous but also sheds light on how this type of situation can happen to anyone. The irony is that while some characters have a permanent smile on their faces, the disenchantment is still quite palpable.
