Fiona Tang’s Art Is Ready to Jump out of the Wall

Vancouver based artist Fiona Tang uses an art technique called trompe l’oeil to deceive the eye. The technique makes use of shadows and perspective in a 2D drawing to give the illusion of 3D. This is used to great effect in her large-scale murals. The featured animals are done in charcoal, chalk pastel and acrylic on paper.
