Iconic Trademarks of Famous Characters Made Part of Their Names

Signatures are unique like thumbprints but apart from looking like chicken scratch, they are as boring as, well, chicken scratch. Patrick Svensson created a series of illustrations called ‘Famous People Lettering’ to set celebrity names apart from the regular joe’s but you have to look very closely to see the clever way he does it. The Swedish graphic designer found an ingenious way of paying homage to each famous character’s iconic trademark by integrating it ever so subtly within their names. A minimalist artist by trade, Svensson believes you don’t need much to draw the viewers in: “I believe in two-way communication, and often try to involve the viewer in my design. Even if a picture is simple and flat I want there to be more to discover if you just take the time to study it a little closer.”
