Jeremy Scott’s Junk Food Couture for Moschino

The online fashion industry is abuzz with Jeremy Scott’s 2014 Fall Winter RTW collection for Moschino debuted at Milan’s Fashion Week. The once-intern turned creative director is the perfect designer to take the helm of the Italian brand famous for its tongue-in-cheek designs. Franco Moschino heralded tees and suits with satiricial messages such as “Expensive Jacket,” “This is a Waist of Money,” and “Good Taste Doesn’t Exist,” so the iconic brand and Scott’s aesthetic vision is a match made in heaven. The collection features junk culture such as McDonald’s, SpongeBob Squarepants, and Budweiser on Chanel lines and haute couture dresses and gowns. The outlandish branding is not for everyone but the silhouettes remain classically stunning.
