21 Highlights from the 2014 Sony World Photography Awards

With the final winners to be selected and announced in March and April, the World Photography Organization released its shortlist for the 2014 Sony World Photography Awards. The subjects range from animals embracing to whimsical reenactments but all the finalists manage to capture a moment that commands a second look.
