Few of life’s magical process are as captivating as the transformation of the humble caterpillar into a vibrant moth or butterfly. What you may not know is that inside that mystical chrysalis, the bug turns to a gooey mush before it spouts those wonderful wings, with some butterflies continuing the characteristics it carried as a caterpillar.
