A New Photography Award Celebrates Animals Being Their Natural, Sometimes Funny, Selves

This year marks the inaugural year of a brand new category for a very particular type of photography, the Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards. Created by wildlife photographer and conservation advocate Paul Joynson-Hicks in collaboration with Born Free Foundation, the special contest celebrates submitted images of animals captured in funny poses basically just doing what they do best, being themselves! Even in the wild, it looks like no creature is safe from picking their nose or practicing tai chi without the prying eyes of the paparazzi but it goes to show that our animal friends are just like humans in so many ways.
