Professional origami artist Sipho Mabona and his team of more than a dozen people took over four months to craft this paper sculpture. This Indiegogo backed project raised $26,000 from 631 supporters. A webcam was installed in the workspace to allow the audience to see how the elephant took shape. The project started with a 15×15 meter paper with difficulty encountered in shaping and bending the paper. Sometimes it would take ten people to help lift and fold the paper. The resulting creation stands over 3 meters tall and showcased in the KKLB Museum in Switzerland.
