An Acrylic Chair That Lets Your Inner Decorator Out

A piece of acrylic furniture automatically ups the cool factor of any space but Sohyun Yun gives you the choice to go the extra mile with Layer. The South Korean graphic and industrial designer created the acrylic seating as a refection into our materialistic society and so to give the consumer a way to change up the look of a furniture without breaking the bank or throwing anything away, she created one that can be easily customized and modified on a whim. The acrylic chair contains three slots in the seat and the back where up to 3 transparent or printed panels can slide in, giving one the tools to unleash their creative side without ever feeling a pinch of commitment. Layer comes prepackaged with a set of pre-printed panels so one can explore the design possibilities right out of the box.
