Artist Uses Paper Cranes as His Canvas for Year-Long Project

Cristian Marianciuc delves into a year-long project involving his passion for the art of origami. Inspired by his feelings for the day, memories from childhood, and everyday experiences, the origami enthusiast fashions an expertly folded paper crane to reflect whatever he fancies for the day. Accessorized with anything from cutouts, feathers, embroidery, paint, and even spices, the collection of delicate sculptures become a tangible journal chronicling Marianciuc’s life in 2015.
