Bagels Made With Rainbows and Unicorns (Kind of)

The Bagel Store in Brooklyn crafts the most psychedelic bagels around and they don’t just look fun, they taste fun too. The shop’s founder and baker Scot Rossillo has been making rainbow bagels since he opened his doors back in 2000 but he credits the recent surge of the decadent bread’s popularity to the legalization of gay marriages and to social media. The technique of making the groovy colored bagels are so precise that he can only make 100 of them every five hours compared to 5,000 ordinary bagels in the same amount of time. Going off the motto “Because rainbow bagels are antioxidants for the soul,” the Psychedelic Rainbow Bagels are known to taste like your favorite sugary childhood cereal slathered with Funfetti cream cheese (cream cheese mixed with confetti sprinkles and white sprinkle cake) and topped off with pink and blue cotton candy for a tantalizing explosion of rainbows, clouds and unicorn in your mouth.
