Children’s Imaginations Made Into Reality by Monstrum

Playgrounds have come a long way from when we were kids. Metal slides have been replaced with plastic, curvy ones and the hard concrete is now covered with recycled rubber. Monstrum, however, has taken this concept of change and ran with it. The Danish design firm constructs imaginative playscapes straight out of children’s books and makes them a reality. Founders Ole B. Nielsen and Christian Copenhagen both have an extensive background in theatrical set design so it’s no surprise that each project reflects a dramatic presentation. The award-winning firm successfully delivers a tangible piece of childhood imagination that begs to be played and climbed on.
