Chinese Dog Lover Cares for Thousands of Strays

Beyond the typical dog-lover, Shaanxi Province resident, Wang Yahfang, established a dog asylum that currently cares for over 1,300 strays. Solely run by donations and the help of just four other volunteers, the 60-year-old woman makes sure the animals are fed, cared for and groomed regularly.
