Chinese Gods Contemporized by Beijing Illustrator

The 8 Immortals from Chinese mythology such as He Xiangu, Cao Guojiu, Tieguai Li and Lan Caihe have all been further immortalized thanks to these cool animations. Revered by Taoists, each one possesses special powers to ward off evil. Their characteristics have now been expertly and humorously replicated in traditional Chinese style by Beijing based artist Niu Xiaosheng. It is said they all inhabit a cluster of islands in the Bohai Sea.
