Christopher Conte’s Biomechanical Sculptures

Using his 16 years of experience in prosthetics, Norwegian artist Christopher Conte creates arthropods and anatomies. The intricate sculptures resemble mechanical robots but are crafted with gold and silver, which gives them an almost militaristic flare. One could easily imagine an army of mechanical spiders on a post-apocalyptic battlefield.
