Erik Aberg’s Fascinating Ghostcube

Referred to as “Liquid Wood”, the Ghostcube contracts and unravels in fascinating ways. Swedish artist Erik Aberg use hinges to manipulate the interconnected cubes in an unlikely fluid manner. To discount the notion that this might all be camera trick, Aberg offers 2 videos on his website detailing the project from inception to creation. Much like origami, the Ghostcube can be folded and twisted in many ways which makes it a very dynamic conversation piece indeed.
