Flying Museum Launches Massive Plastic Bag Balloons

Tomás Saraceno‘s latest art installation in Vienna, his first solo debut in Austria, makes an environmental statement in a colossal way with ‘Becoming Aerosolar.’ The Argentinian artist has been known for creating environmentally conscious sculptures and installations and this one fits the bill from the materials to its massive size that speaks volumes about its message. Composed of plastic bags and packing papers from various exhibitions around the world, Saraceno combines art and science with ‘Museo Aerosolar,’ a collaborative project where communities are invited to create and launch their own flying museum made of reusable plastic bags.
