Frog Befriends Rhinoceros Beetle

A chance encounter between a frog and a rhinoceros beetle leads to an amusing situation captured through the lens of Hendy Mp. The Indonesian photographer practices macro photography to capture the abundant wildlife found throughout his native country including the Reinwardt Flying Frog, a threatened species of tree frogs. Although we can’t really tell whether the stoic beetle appreciated having his new companion tug on his nose or ride on his back, it didn’t deter the playful tree frog from having a good time nonetheless.
