Google Earth’s Mismatched Photographs by Clement Valla

Even Google’s mighty algorithms can’t always get it exactly right. Brooklyn-based artist, Clement Valla, captures images on Google Earth that are skewed and resemble the melted, wavy imagery of Salvador Dali paintings. While the aerial photographs aren’t technically wrong, they become distorted by Google’s texture mapping process.
