Hillary Fayle’s Delicately Embroidered Leaves You Amazed

A stitch in time, so the saying goes, saves nine. These stitches are doing their bit to help save the environment. This sustainable art, courtesy of Hilary Fayle, sees her use embroidery techniques to craft intricately detailed designs into dried leaves, the idea being to mirror their natural veins. Originally from the U.S.A., she came upon the idea while studying at Britain’s Manchester Metropolitan University, having always had a keen interest in environmental issues.
