If Movie Posters Told the Honest Truth

While Hollywood and the media is abuzz with highs and controversies from the recent 2016 Oscar nominations, we love how The Shiznit makes alight of the matter by telling it like it is with honest movie posters. The London-based website preserved the overall typography and images from each movie while titles, reviews, and taglines were swapped out for humorous ones giving an amusing twist to some serious films. Though a couple of funny lines may not capture the entire cinematic plot of a movie, we find some of them a far more truthful view than the abstract ones that used to be there.
