Janelle Pietrzak’s Haunting Self-Portraits

In Janelle Pietrzak’s The Secret Garden, a ghostly female figure haunts her mystical surroundings. The landscapes are ethereal and the images are self-portraits. Pietrzak uses long exposures to “embody the phenomenal spirits that haunt clandestine spaces.” Pietzak will present The Secret Garden on April 12, 2014 in one of San Miguel de Allende’s private hacienda style gardens.
