Jellyfish Aquarium in Abandoned Warehouse

An unlikely sight, an unlikely locale, and an unlikely location became Walter Hugo and Zoniel’s latest artistic display. An abandoned warehouse hosts a large aquarium teeming with live jellyfish in a residential neighborhood in Liverpool, England. The art installation showcases the ethereal sea creatures slowly moving in their transparency in the eerie blue glow of their home behind a very common storefront shutter. The display is called “The Physical Possibility Of Inspiring Imagination In The Mind Of Somebody Living” and opens everyday at 10pm until July 27th. An enlarged image of the bell-shaped jellyfishes are projected on the Gazelli Art House for an up-close view of the gelatinous marine creatures.
