Kathy Klein’s Danmalas

Arizona-based artist Kathy Klein creates pieces she calls danmala (“the giver of garlands” in Sanskrit) using a variety of flower petals. The carnations, daisies, mums and other wildflowers are arranged to make larger temporary mandalas in outdoor locations where they are photographed and left to be discovered by others. Klein also offers prints and a 2014 calendar of her best works.
