Kerby Rosanes: Doodler by Night
When Kerby Rosanes puts pen to paper, magic comes trickling out. The Philippines-based illustrator comments on his blog, “I draw (almost) all things,” and his flexibility is apparent in these images. His subjects range from cute cartoon-like characters to more realistic ones such as those inspired by the Game of Thrones. Rosanes is a graphic designer by trade and considers his amazing black and white composition pen art as a doodling hobby. His skill at piecing so many little subjects and his attention to every minute detail makes his art amazingly complex. Due to recognition from fans online and in print, Rosanes’ work can now be commissioned such as the Hayao Miyazaki-inspired doodle tribute which took him 12 hours to complete.
