Livia Marin’s Broken and Melting Sculptures

When you first see Chilean artist Livia Marin‘s BrokenThings and NomadPatterns, it can be hard to determine if the pieces are finished. She uses fragments of cups, bowls, jars and more and stages them with broken pieces or melting bits. It’s a surreal series, where you feel like the work might be dissolving as you’re looking at it.
