Melting Walls by Daniel Arsham

Daniel Arsham’s art has the effect of simultaneously flowing and being rigid at the same time. Using white plaster, he creates walls that seem to melt ever so slowly and curtains that give the illusion of undulating movement. Perhaps the most interesting ones are those involving people swallowed up by plaster blobs or simply folded in to the sculpture. Arsham’s exhibitions are shown all over the world and he has collaborated with several high profile clients including music producer Pharell Williams, choreographer Merce Cunningham, and fashion designer Hedi Slimane.
