MetalHeads and Their Beloved Cats

Photographer and animal lover Alexandra Crockett set out to prove that behind every great metal fan is a feline. Her new book ‘Metal Cats‘ breaks all barriers and stereotypes about the heavy metal genre and lifestyle by capturing their hardcore fans, promoters, and musicians posing with their beloved cats. Save for the skull posters, face masks, and jarred who-knows-what, it really just comes down to owners who are head over heels in love with their cats. A whopping 40% of the proceeds and a series of benefit shows held along the West Coast will go towards no-kill shelters in Seattle, Portland, Oakland, and Los Angeles.
