Mike Kelley Captures Airport Activity in One Photo

Los Angeles International Airport is one of the country’s busiest and now they have architectural photographer Mike Kelley‘s photograph to prove it. The self-proclaimed aviation nerd captured an entire day’s worth of takeoffs and some landings at LAX’s south complex. Then he used Photoshop, and just a little bit of angle adjustments, to put together an impressive photograph that simulates the daily activity at the airport. Kelley includes both national and international planes to add size and depth interest to the shot.
