Mother Daughter Underwater Photography

Sacha Kalis channels serenity and an ethereal weightlessness in the clear, calm waters of the Bahamas in the photography projects she undertakes with her underwater photographer mother, Elena Kalis. Going by the moniker ‘Bahamas girl,’ the resident of a small island in the Bahamas has been swimming the waters before she could walk and has become the perfect model for her mother who has been capturing her dreamlike underwater adventures since the age of 8. Her natural affinity for the water can be seen in the interactions she has with the only companions seen in her pictures including sting rays, sharks, turtles, dolphins, and manatees.
