Not Your Typical Bust

The folks at the wax museum needs to take a cue from Kazuhiro Tsuji whose sculptures of historical figures are so realistic that it’s downright eerie. In his high school years, the young Tsuji discovered special effects makeup artistry through American magazines and spent the next 25 years honing his skills in Hollywood before shifting gears into the fine art and sculpture track. Using resin, platinum silicone, and other materials, the self-taught artist molded busts of Abraham Lincoln, Salvador Dali, and Andy Warhol two times the actual size that makes for an incredible presentation and a lasting impression to anyone lucky enough to see them in person.
