Despite being one of the words most people would like to see make an exit ASAP, some brands choose to ride the trend the smartphone inevitably started. Leave it to a tech and fashion collaboration to turn a Mexican hat into an attention-grabbing whatchamacallit. The hot pink, sparkly sombrero is the the product of a team up between rising fashion designer and London College of Fashion student Christian Cowan-Sanluis and tech brand Acer. The limited-edition novelty contains a pocket for an Acer Iconia a1-840 tablet to help amateurs take a selfie at any angle thanks to its lazy-susan capability. The main goal is to assist the fashion maven “understand lighting and how various expressions can change your face to create the perfect social media moment.” And in case your tablet is feeling a little left out, Cowan-Sanluis created a limited edition version to fit its pretty little head too.
