Skipping Rocks Like a Boss

Faced with a placid lake and a slew of rocks underfoot, many of us feel the surge of victory upon a successful 3 or 4 skips on the water with a smooth pebble. However, don’t pat yourself on the back just yet before you see what Kurt ‘MountainMan’ Steiner’s powerful arm brings to the table. Calling himself ‘Stone Skipper,’ and rightfully so, he set the current world record back in 2014 for skipping a rock over a lake a total of 88 times. This video, taken in 2015, was located in Lake Paran in Bennington, Vermont and we’re not quite sure how many skips he managed this time because we lost count at 3 or 4.
