Sony World Photography Awards 2016 Shortlist Just Announced

The Sony World Photography Awards is the world’s biggest photography competition bringing photographers from over 180 countries to compete in their Professional, Open and Youth divisions for a chance to win a part of $30,000 (USD) in cash prizes plus the latest Sony digital imaging equipment. From amateurs to seasoned veterans, the contest brings those passionate about photography a chance to share their work with the rest of the world in categories such as culture, sports, candid, and wildlife among others. Last week, the prestigious competition has just revealed the collection of incredible images that has made the 2016 shortlist out of the 230,103 submissions it received from all around the globe and we feature some of them below.
