Star Wars Theme Played by Young Violinist and His Lightsaber

Jeffrey Ding He performs a cover of the Star Wars theme using his trusty violin and a lightsaber thanks to some motion-tracking editing. The Bangkok-based high schooler spent 20 hours of his precious teenage years adding the glowing laser effect for the blue lightsaber frame alone while the rest took a little less. Jeffrey has been playing the violin for 14 years and not surprisingly, the inspiration of turning his violin bow into a lightsaber came while watching the latest installment of the epic saga “The Force Awakens.” The creativity Star Wars breeds in every generation is positively endless.
