Suspended 10 Stories High, Sky Pool Offers a Stunning View Above and Below

With dwindling land in urban areas and real estate ever being a commodity, developers in London are getting creative when it comes to offering the best amenities for the residents of two London buildings. Set to be built in 2016, the UK will be the site of the world’s first ever “sky pool” – an 82-foot long, 10 foot deep swimming pool that will connect two luxury buildings suspended 10 stories high. The transparent pool will be encased in 1 inch thick glass with the help of aquarium designers for the new high-end housing development Embassy Gardens. Apart from the sky pool, residents paying upwards of $900k to live in one of the apartments and penthouses will also enjoy a roof-top bar, spa, and greenhouse.
