Paper marbling is a process of creating a look of marble or other smooth stone onto paper or fabric. The process involves ink in water and a viscous mucilage. Thin wires are used to pull the ink or paint into intricate patterns. Turkish filmmaker Oguz Uygur captured the craft of Aruba, another name for paper marbling. The finished paper is used for calligraphy, book covers, bookbinding and stationery.
