The Post-Apocalyptic World According to Josh Keyes

Josh Keyes shows us what a dystopian world would look like in the collection “The Far Side of the World.” The Oregon-based artist paints surreal pictures of urban jungles overrun by animals and sea creatures. It’s interesting to see the merging of the two worlds where wolves roam the streets and land animals seek refuge from shark-infested waters. We may never know what happened to the human inhabitants but the bigger question Keyes raises is whether our course of action today ultimately brings us to our own demise. The idea is grim but the vision of animals finding their way around the city is both curious and fascinating.
