These Hyperrealistic Pastel Illustrations on Wood Will Trick Your Eyes and Brain

We’ve seen photorealistic illustrations before that pop off the page, but never on wood. Ivan Hoo, an incredibly talented, self taught artist from Singapore, specializes in hyper realistic drawings on wooden blocks that trick the eyes and brain. His first anamorphic work on wood was recreating a dripping effect which received a great response in Instagram. He couldn’t help but create more work using this concept.
