Transparent City by Michael Wolf
Michael Wolf exposes society’s voyeuristic tendencies with his photographic series “Transparent City”. The German photographer focuses on capturing life in mega cities and offers an intimate view of people’s lives in towering skyscrapers. Each perfectly framed floor to ceiling window shot was taken from public rooftops in Chicago where Wolf found that the city’s architecture was a lot less dense and therefore offered a different depth than his previous post in Hong Kong. No one will openly admit having looked into an unobscured window or two before, but Wolf offers a guilt-free peek behind the doors of lit-up living and work spaces.
