Victoria Siemer’s Landscape Reflections

Brooklyn-based graphic designer Victoria Siemer intersects idyllic landscapes with inverted reflections in her recent digital artworks series. The natural scenes of mountains, ocean, forests and clouds are cut by the rectangular reflections, causing a break in the flow of the images. While Siemer doesn’t provide a direct interpretation of this series, her pervious work, and college thesis, dealt with visual or emotional fragmentation.
