Video Game Characters Wreak Havoc in Boy’s Bedroom

Joe Murayama creates a scenario of fantasy meets real life in the new live action and animated short film Video Game TakeOver. It combines live action and animation taking place inside a boy’s bedroom while he steps away from his computer to get a snack. In the film, classic video game characters break out of the screen and let loose in the real world, destroying everything from an iPad to setting the bed on fire. Generation X’ers will delight in seeing Galaga and Bowser brought back into the limelight.
