Mary Jordan Urges New Yorkers to Look Up
Mary Jordan sets her sights on transforming New York City’s skyline one water tank at a time. The filmmaker made a promise to a group of Ethiopian women to raise awareness about their plight for what many of us take advantage of. Jordan launched The Water Tank Project to raise awareness about the water crisis and she has enlisted over 100 established and emerging artists to help her launch the crucial initiative. With the slogan “Art above NYC. Water above all,” one of New York’s largest public art shows encourages people to look up, to get educated, and to spread the word about this global issue.
