80’s-Inspired Album Covers Featuring Pop-Culture Villains

For Generation Xers, nothing is more nostalgic quite like songs from the 80’s and Rocky Davies found an awesome way of opening the throwback floodgates through a mash-up of 80’s pop-culture villains and musical hooks. The aptly titled 80’s Villains Series were drawn in vector and feature fonts, geometrical accents, and bold hues reminiscent of the 80’s vibes down to the Wayfarer’s. Davies’ clever concept doesn’t stop at great design as anyone who was coming of age during that decade know that the song tagline chosen for each villain was assigned to them for a specific reason. No clue? Time to dust off the VHS and tape deck.
