A Pop-Up Campsite Invites Guests to Spend a Night in an Inhabitable Sculpture
Urban Campsite offers a respite from chain hotels and hosts a creative place for you to stay if your next vacation happens to be in Amsterdam. Part campsite and part art installation, 14 architects and designers show their creative prowess in these amazing sculptures outfitted with beds and everything a short stay requires including a communal gathering space and bathrooms. With catchy names like Trampotent, Kite Cabin, and Shrinkwrap House, these sculptural dwellings are part of an art exhibition that promises to make anyone’s stay memorable as guests take part in the overall artistic experience. The exhibition will be available until August 31 with prices starting at €85/night (about $95) and can be booked through airbnb. (Pictured above: BedBug)
